basically, got iPhone on 12 July, cancelled voda contract on 20 July.

i was given a final settlement figure, and told that was everything, except for and charges incurred from a couple of days previous, and until the transfer of my number. understandable, as it takes time for these super human computers to update a couple of phone calls!

anyway, paid the £100 odd bill that they wanted, thought it was all done as i didnt use the phone after that weekend, and i know i was still within my allowance of texts and calls anyway.

today, 6 weeks later, i get a final statement for £11.25!! on the itemised statement, there is only 1 (one) chargeable usage on 20 July. a total of £0.002 data charge. for that little, i guess i must have knocked the internet button by accident. really cannot get my head around how they are trying to bill me £11.25. direct debit has been cancelled, so they wont get the money that way.

where do you guys think i stand? do i have to pay this? as the d/d is cancelled, will that then go a a default on my bank account for the payment being refused?
