I came across LockInfo in Rock the other day and rather liked it. I messed around with the settings to create the look I want. However, since then I now have extra springboard pages.
I didn't mind at first, 'cause more can be better, but here is what I got.
After unlocking I had LockInfo page. Go left and there is my quick search. But go right and there is a blank page. So I went to the next page to drag some icons over to the blank page. All is well until I discover the same has happened again. After a few goes at this I end up with sixteen pages, the first being blank.
I then decide to pay for LockInfo, only, it wouldn't take my card details as it did for GOC Pro. It requires either Amazon or eBay, I don't have an account with those, so I deleted the program. I though maybe this would curb the growth of my springboard pages. But I still have a blank page!

Anyone got any idea how I can have my first page populated with my most used apps, please?

Presumably you've tried moving your icons in iTunes and still have the same problem?
It sounds like Lockinfo has left something behind.
I suggest you contact David Ashman and ask for his advice. He regularly posts in the thread on MMi, his username there and on Twitter is Stimpy5050

Rock is awful though. I certainly wouldn't let it near my phone!

I found it in Rock, couldn't pay, then went into Cydia to see if they had an alternative method. It was the same.
I don't try moving icons in iTunes 'cause iTunes doesn't recognise that I have five icons in the dock and five colums. Infact, last time I tried my phone crashed and I had to run Blackra1n again!
