Poor signal

What about t-mobile? Anything to say about one of the biggest mobile network provider?

Poor signal

Postby trebla » Thu Oct 20, 2011 9:48 am

When previously using Blackberry my signal was strong. Having upgraded to Iphone 4s my signal is weak and no service is displayed. I haven't changed providers still with Tmobile as haven't had a signal issue in the past. Tmobile tell me that my signal is weak as I have a protective case. It made no difference taking the case off. Anyone else having weak signal / no service issues

setting>general>networkon a 3gs if your still stuck google turning off 3g iphone 4s

Just try and see what it does, signal bars are not an accurate way of telling true signal strenght. Is it poor bars or poor signal?

on a 3gs so should be something similar on the 4s

As said Paul the option is not available on the 4S, mind you by the amount of complaints Apple are getting about this it may make a comeback in an update.

Oh, I was not recommending that as you hopefully are still in the return period for your phone if it is indeed faulty. Turning off 3G is handy for some folks but if you are not getting the signal you should be take it to Apple and get them to check it.

An update could be months away or never as Apple are very good at ignoring customer requests. Make a Genius appointment with Apple and forget about Tmobile as they will just send it to Apple anyway. If it is faulty Apple will replace it on the spot.

Text yes to 2121

When your tmobile network goes low, it will switch to the shared network with orange, the only problem is the 3G is pretty bad on the shared network.
