Please excuse a novice at this. I have a new itouch, great, but I am trying to solve how to enable a transfer of all my music from my ipod to my new itouch.

I searched Google but came up with programs that only had limited usage before you had to pay, and I am not convinced they are totally kosher.

When I click on my ipod it shows my music but greyed out, as I was attempting to transfer them into a file called Vic's Music, however it wont let me do that.

Could someone kindly advise me on the best way to go about performing this task.

You need to use a 3rd party program. Due to the rules of the forumi cannot say what one to use but i used one to put all the music from my uncles ipod to mine when i first bought it. Search them on google, there are free ones about.

Once you use it un-install it it's a waste of time having it if your not using it all the time and only takes up computer hardrive space.
