Hi just found this forum and looking for a bit of help

Hi just bought a brand new 3g iphone off ebay which is locked to o2. Phone not activated yet. It is on firmware 3.1.2

I want to use it on my works vodaphone network and need to know the best way to unlock it.

I have a spare o2 sim which has never been used. Do i insert this and activate via itunes then Jailbreak and unlock it with blackrain. I am told o2 wont unlock a PAYG unless it is 12months old even if you pay the £15.00.

O2 will unlock for £15 (PAYG). Just pop over to the o2 site and enter your o2 details into the right place.

I'd look for it meself but the o2 site is running very slow ATM.
