Do you use your iPod as a storage device? Like a pen drive or some thing. I do it all the time. I transfer big folders of photos and like using my 30GB video ipod.

Me too. I do the same on many occasions. I have the ipod on me most times. I just use it to store documents, photos etc.

I used to use my 20GB iPod as a portable drive. Then I started to run out of space and purchased a 120GB portable drive at a very reasonable price.

I owned a 1st Gen iPod Nano and a 80GB iPod Classic, and I used both as a hard drive. In fact now I have an iPhone, i use my 80GB iPod Classic as a back up drive for all my PC files.

With such a peice of kit I hav never needed to buy a seperate hard drive.
