Hi Angelinalove
So are people!!!...
I should know... I'm a man and I've made two myself.
Seriously, it is not a question of theology or philosophy.. merely a statement to say how iPod has made listening to music, making compilations and listening to music 'on the go' so much easier, and with the currrant functions on iPod touch and iPhone (i.e. mini internet computers in your pocket) it does make a difference to our lives.
For instance I went walking today in a nature reserve and like an arse got completly lost in the surrounding woodland. Using my iPhone GPS I managed to find my way back to my car, using an aerial satelite view. LOL.
When it mentions 'changing the world' I do not think the post originatior meant changing the world physically, environmentally, geographically or morally...I think it was more of a statement of the effect it has had on our lives, and I think my arguement has bailed that statement out.
And as for man made things not being able to change the world, I suppose to you, aeroplanes, automobiles, Railways, life changing medicines, Television, Radio, DVD's, Computer's, games Consoles, the internet and your basic stretch of Motorway, all of which have changed different aspects of our lives irreversably, evolved naturally from nature over time did they?
Man made inventions have, for better or for worse been changing the world around us since time immemorial, and they will continue to do so..until their either kill us all or cure us all. LOL.
Have fun.
