Depends what you are interested in, and what you want from your phone.
Personally I like twisting and distorting my friends and family. So photo app such as Juxtaposer and Oldbooth are brilliant.
My favorite games include Doom, Moonlight Mahjong and Bobby Carrot.
I'm a Joiner/Cabinet maker, so a good note pad is essential for retaining useful information rather than on a scrap of paper that somehow finds its way into the washing machine!

I would strongly suggest reading reviews on apps. I have bought some thinking they are exactly what I am after, only to find that it was dreadful. And reviews had said that without me reading them first.

There are apps that I feel sure can enhance anyone's life.
